Entertaining Appetizer -Chilled and Shaped Herbed Goat Cheese served with Tomatoes and Crackers
This is a wonderful entertaining appetizer - do ahead of fridge and Bring Out When ready. Will this recipe serves Approximately 15 people. This is a very popular appetizer.This est aussi appetizer was very flexible to do - you can change the ingredients to your taste Slightly LUKAS What You Have Gold available. Ingredients:
1 11 oz package of Goat Cheese
1 T. Fresh Basil - washed, dried and chopped Finely.
2T Napa Valley Dipping Oil of
Salt and pepper to taste
A bunch of gold Grape Cherry Tomatoes, Cut Into Thin Slices Sun-dried tomatoes OR packed in olive oil, chopped
A package of crackers (Such as the Ritz)
Management:
1. Soften goat cheese at room temperature by Leaving for about 30-60 minutes.
2. Mix goat cheese with basil, Napa Valley Dipping Oil, salt and pepper. Taste and adjust Before molding Seasonings if Necessary.
3. Tightly pack goat cheese in Herbede Either of the trays of molds FOLLOWING: Heart, Daisy, Charlotte Tray, half-sphere, Star Tray, Oval Savarin, Gold Mini-loaf. This Amount Will not yield in CF firefighters tray - You Will Daisy get about three molds (or 10 stars) out of one 11 oz package of goat cheese. ** If You Do not Have a mold, you can put it in "any container - it just will not look this pretty.
4. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for at least 1-2 hours.
5. Carefully un-mold onto a plate EACH shape and we used the side a bowl of sliced tomatoes and the crackers.
Variation # 1 on the goat cheese ingredients:
1 11 oz package of Goat Cheese

2T of Roasted Garlic Olive Oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Variation # 2 is the goat cheese ingredients:
1 11 oz package of Goat Cheese
1 T. Fresh Basil - washed, dried and chopped Finely.
1 / 2 T. Fresh Oregano and / or Thyme
2 Cloves of garlic, Finely minced
1 T. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Salt and pepper to taste
